Gaining Preparedness Skills for Employment is the program for you!
Our Gaining Preparedness Skills (GPS) classes are designed for persons with disabilities interested in seeking knowledge, confidence, and the resources for pursuing employment. During the Get You Back to Work Orientation, you will learn about:
– An overview of Walton Options Services
– Employment Readiness Training Information
– The Ticket to Work Program
– Understanding the needs of Employers
– Establishing an individual work plan
– Including yourself in the workplace
– Empowering yourself through motivation
– The impact of work on Social Security Benefits
– Increasing your opportunity to obtain gainful employment successfully
