Giving Tuesday is Dec 1!
Do you know the impact 24 hours can have on a personal journey of independence?
In 24 hours a person with a disability can receive:
- Home modifications to keep them safely at home in their community
- Advocacy Support to have an active say in their lives
- Adaptive sports opportunities to stay active and engaged.
- Employment preparedness training and guidance on their job search.
- Assistive Technology providing accommodations in daily life.
- And so much more!
Some see Giving Tuesday as a day of giving back to their community. We at Walton Options see it as a day of opportunity for independence and inclusion. Your support this year can make an impact in the lives of our consumers as they travel on their personal journey of independence.
Join us on Tuesday December 1st for Giving Tuesday online with our Facebook, Twitter & Instagram accounts. This year we will be hosting Empower Hours sponsored by Barney’s Pharmacy and DuraMed Medical Services!
Donations will be “empowered” at certain times of the day to boost our giving totals. As a thank you, all donors will be entered for a chance to win an Amazon Echo Dot at the end of the day. And anyone who donates $50 or more will receive a free Dis’ Art 2021 Wall Calendar in January.
The Giving Tuesday Schedule:
- 8:00am – Kickoff of Giving Tuesday
- 10:00am – Barney’s Pharmacy Empower Hour Boost
- 1:00pm – DuraMed Services Equipment Match Empower Hour
- 6:00pm – Empower Hour Donation Matching up to $1000 from a Walton Options Supporter
- 8:00pm – Drawing for an Amazon Echo Dot.

2020 might not have been the year we had planned but we have not let that stop us from our mission. Throughout the pandemic, we have continued to offer support and a voice to the disability community and our consumers. We have adapted to offer our services safely from a distance and continued to provide options!
