STAR Program Update: Summer 2017 Closing Dates
Mark your calendars – Beginning Thursday August 16, 2017, the STAR Program Hub will be closed due to summer inventory, data catch-up, end of the year fiscal completions, staff training, and to avoid the worst of the summer heat. No medical equipment will be available during this closed time frame. We appreciate your patience during this closed period and apologize for an inconvenience this may cause.
We will re-open at Noon on Thursday September 14, 2017.
Consumers can make specific appointments and get items via their Independent Living programs with a 96 hour (4 day) notice.
Please note: When STAR does reopen – scripts or medical statements will no longer be needed for transport chairs – only wheelchairs.
The STAR Network Program Hub is a service program of Walton Options, not a store. Inventory is not guaranteed. Used inventory is based on donations and new inventory is based on contributions and monetary donations. Below are some resources you can utilize while the program is closed. Some basic equipment (show chairs, beside commodes, raised toilet seats, etc.) can be purchased online at places like pharmacies, Walmart and Amazon. Below are some links:
