The Options are Still Endless!
We are still serving you! Many things have changed in recent months due to the current health situation, but our commitment to the disability community has not! Walton Options is here for you with resources for independent living.
Beginning June 22, our offices will re-open to the public through appointments only. We will continue to offer virtual and remote services where possible.
Changes to keep in mind at all of our offices:
- We encourage you to continue to utilize our remote telephone & video options when connecting with our teams.
- Extensions to reach your IL Advocate or Team Member have changed.
- The general information phone number is 706-724-6262
- If you know the extension of your team member, press 4 then dial the extension.
- If you do not know the extension, you can press 0 for our main desk or find the extension with our online list here.
- We are following CDC Guidelines in all of our offices for staff and any visitors:
- Stall will wear masks & visitors are also asked to wear a mask.
- Guests will be asked a short, pre-screening questionnaire and are subject to a temperature check before entering the building.
- Sanitization protocols for staff and guests will be posted and followed.
- Social Distancing will be in effect for all offices which will restrict the number of guests at any given time.
- We will have options for dropping off/picking-up equipment or paperwork, allowing you to remain in or near your vehicle.
- As we will only be open to the public by appointment only, we encourage you to confirm with your IL Advocate or Team Member if we will be able to accommodate you, especially if utilizing public transit.

As businesses and organizations continue to re-open, we remind everyone to be mindful of exercising caution and continuing to follow CDC Guidelines. The re-opening of businesses does not mean the virus is gone.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Our transition team continues to work with individuals who are requesting assistance to move out of nursing and rehab facilities. They have remained constant in this time to respond to all requests and coordinate these services utilizing guidelines from the state so that persons could still exercise their right to live at home in the community.
