Love Shouldn’t Hurt 2020
Love comes in many forms but so can abuse – physical & mental abuse, exploitation and neglect. There are resources available for persons with disabilities who are in abusive situations including domestic abuse and elder abuse.
Join us for a morning of resources, speakers and discussions on domestic abuse and how you can help make sure love doesn’t compromise who you are.
Thursday, February 20, 2020, starting at 9:30 am at the Wallace Branch Library.
There will be resources, speakers and discussions available for survivors with disabilities, survivors of elder abuse and those who work with them.
Registration is free and open to the public. If you require an accommodation, please note it during the online registration process. Accommodations should be requested no later than 2 weeks prior to the event. For online registration go to the Eventbrite listing.
Love, safety, acceptance, and independence should never come at a cost that compromises who you are.
