Are you looking for resources for housing? Are you looking for a rental or purchasing a home? Not sure where to start or what to be aware of moving forward? Are you a person with a disability or have a family member who has a disability?
Our Quarterly Housing & Advocacy Class can help you in all these areas and more!
Whether you are a renter, home owner, or looking to become one, this class will help you navigate and understand a variety of aspects of independent housing as a person with a disability or if you have a family member who has a disability. Topics discussed in the class include:

- Applying for housing assistance
- Fair Housing Guidance
- Where to look for rentals
- Home Ownership – what you should know
- Rental/New Home checklists
- Home Ownership/Rental Resources

- How to make a Complaint
- Foreclosure/Eviction Prevention
- Local Resources & Shelters
The Class will be held at the Augusta Office, 948 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30901.
Class Dates for 2018 are:
- Tuesday, March 20
- Friday, June 22
- Tuesday, September 18
- Tuesday, December 18
The Class is designed for persons with disabilities or if you have a family member who has a disability. The class covers both Renters and Home Owners – each with a separate part of the class.
**Note – The Dec 18 Date will only host the Afternoon session from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM with the focus on renting and local resources**.
